The Falcons continued OK Blue conference play with the Huskies from Forest Hills Northern on September 9, 2011. West Catholic was quickly down a touchdown early in the first quarter but bounced right back with a screen pass from Tommy Staskiewicz to Kyle O’Hearn to tie the game. O’Hearn finished the night with seven receptions for 107 yards contributing to Staskiewicz’s 198 passing yards and two touchdowns. After a turnover by the Huskies David Kuzma scored on a seven yard touchdown from Staskiewicz that put the Falcons up 21-13 at the half. Jalin Faison scored a rushing touchdown shortly after the 3rd quarter had started and totaled 179 yards on 28 carries for an average of 6.4 yards per rush. The Falcons were back in forth with the Huskies all second half. Many turnovers by both teams ended regulation at a tie 27-27. The Falcons won the coin toss in overtime and elected to start on defense. The Huskies were held to 3 yards and failed a field goal on fourth down to hand over the ball to the Falcons. On the first play on offense Staskiewicz called his own number and ran in a touchdown giving the Falcons an exciting win and a good start to their games in the OK Blue Conference.
