Our girls have done an amazing job so far this season, it’s crazy to think that we only have about a month left. With this being said, we are so impressed with how the girls manage themselves. Despite the day being a little crazy with the band marching in the parade etc., the girls were excited for the races. We have not had a single meet yet where our girls did not swim well.
All of our meets have been exciting so far. This meet was awesome as it was so close to home. Grace Miner made her debut on diving, only having started a week prior, her scores were awesome. We also had some great swims across the board from all of the girls.
With three meets in a week the first meet is for times, the second meet is to make them tough, and the third one is just meant to have fun. This meet was definitely a ton of fun. Not only was it fun, but the girls had some great swims again, and with homecoming later on in the day!
This meet was number two out of three for the week that we faced. With the meet just prior to this one only two days before we anticipated the girls to be much more worn out when starting their races. Not only did the meet fly by, but our girls were applauded for their great cheering, and swam more best times. At this meet one of our girls broke 30 seconds for the first time.
Our girls are amazing at adapting to the environment when they must. With a couple of our girls out for injuries etc. we adjusted races last minute. Thrown into races 5 minutes prior became an adjustment a few of them faced- these races also showed a ton of improvement and willpower with some new best times.
